No Payment Method Provided Error

When using the Place Order Without Payment for WooCommerce plugin, you may encounter an error message stating “No Payment method provided.” This error occurs when no payment method is available or active on the checkout page. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Edit Checkout Page:
    • Navigate to your WordPress admin dashboard.
    • Go to Pages > All Pages.
    • Find the page where you have placed the WooCommerce checkout form.
    • Edit the page and ensure that the 
      shortcode is present.
    • Update the page to save your changes.
  2. Activate At Least One Payment Method:
    • In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Settings.
    • Click on the Payments tab.
    • Ensure that at least one payment method is activated. If none are active, you can activate the COD (Cash on Delivery) Payment Method as a quick fix.
    • Save changes.

After completing these steps, the error should be resolved, and customers should be able to place orders without encountering the “No Payment method provided” message.
