Assembling Products at Home – Is This For Real?

Let's begin by being blunt. You will not make a lot of money putting together craft kits or any other types of kits for that matter.

Assembling products at home sounds wonderful, especially if you enjoy art and craft projects. All you have to do is assemble kits at home in your spare time. You then send the complete products to the company and they buy them back from you.

Here is the catch and it is a big one. Your products have to pass a quality inspection. Can you see what happens next? Yep! Your products will never pass inspection.

As a variation, sometimes your first order will pass the inspection. This encourages you to buy more supplies and make more products. These new products will not pass inspection.

The companies require you to buy all your supplies from them. You spend more and more money trying to make satisfactory products, but you never will. These companies make their money selling you overpriced supplies.

The supplies you buy from them for $ 35 would only cost you $ 4 at your local store.

That being said "Are all assembling products at home jobs scams?" The answer is no. There are some legitimate jobs out there. Here are two things I recommend checking for before joining a program like this.

The first is the wording. If it offers a business opportunity and requires money it is most likely a scam. A true home job will not charge you a single time or a recurring fee. A real job will send you the supplies for free and then pay you for your time.

The other way is the use of the word assembly worker. When you see this phrase think scam. A legitimate job will advertise for an artisan or craftsman, not a worker. Stay away from those kinds of jobs.

As with all opportunities for work at home jobs, do your research before you send in money. Look around on the internet. Use Google to search for forums. You should type in "work at home" + forums (with the quotes). This will give you a list of forums that discuss work at home jobs.

Read the forum and see if the job you are interested in is listed as a scam. If you can't find it, join the forum and ask about it. Chances are if it is a scam, other people have fallen for it. They will be quick to warn you about it.
